Is Pawtient AI free?
Yes, the core app is free on iOS and Android. Free tier covers daily health logging, weight tracking, medication reminders, and basic features. Premium subscription unlocks unlimited blood test scans, AI consultations (20/month), unlimited vet visit summaries, and report generation.
Does Pawtient AI replace my veterinarian?
No. Pawtient AI is explicitly an AI assistant and second opinion, never diagnosis. It helps you understand veterinary information, prepare better questions, and track treatment adherence. Final clinical decisions belong with a licensed veterinarian.
Which pets does Pawtient AI support?
Cats, dogs, rabbits, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, and other companion species. Multi-pet households are supported with per-pet profiles and a tab-style switcher.
Is my pet's data private?
The app connects to our backend over HTTPS. Pet, health, and account data are not encrypted at the application layer; Atlas storage and backup encryption have not been verified. Account deletion anonymizes account details and marks some records as deleted; it does not erase all associated data. There is no in-app feature to export all account data. Can I use Pawtient AI offline?
Daily health logging and viewing past data work offline. AI features (blood test scan interpretation, AI chat, vet visit summarization) require an internet connection.
How accurate is the lab value translator?
Pawtient AI reads standard veterinary lab report formats with high accuracy; it provides feline CKD staging context based on IRIS 2023 and linked AAHA diabetes and senior-care guidance. Pawtient AI always recommends discussing values with your vet: the translator helps you understand the report, not replace clinical judgment.
Can my partner and I both track the same pet?
Share pet records with family members using viewer or editor roles. You can revoke sharing in the app.
