This notice explains how General Revolution Corporation ("we") handles personal data when you visit generalrev.com. It is written to meet the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Taiwan's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). For the Pawtient AI app, see the Pawtient AI Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are (controller)

2. What this website collects

This website has no accounts, forms, advertising or tracking analytics. When you browse, only the following is processed:

Connection data: IP address, browser type, requested URL and time, processed by our host Cloudflare to deliver pages and protect against attacks.
Security cookie cf_clearance: set by Cloudflare to tell real browsers from automated attacks; lasts about one year. Strictly necessary.
Visit statistics: Cloudflare Web Analytics counts aggregate traffic (e.g. page views) without cookies and without cross-site tracking.
Language preference: the language you pick is stored in your browser's localStorage (language). It stays on your device and is not sent to us.
Emails you send us: your name, email address and message.

Fonts are served from this website itself; no requests are made to Google Fonts or other third parties.

3. Purposes and legal bases

Delivering the website, security and abuse prevention: legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Understanding overall site usage to improve content: legitimate interests; aggregate data only.
Answering your emails: steps at your request / legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b) or (f)).

Apart from emails, you do not actively provide any data. If you do not email us, the only consequence is that we cannot reply to you.

4. Third parties and international transfers

Cloudflare, Inc. (USA): hosting, CDN, security and Web Analytics. Data may be processed across Cloudflare's global network; transfers rely on Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum and Standard Contractual Clauses.
Google Workspace: our email provider.

We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.

5. Retention

Connection and security logs: per Cloudflare's retention policy; we keep no separate copy.
cf_clearance cookie: about one year; you can delete it in your browser at any time.
Emails: kept for up to 3 years after the matter is closed, then deleted.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, a copy of, correction or deletion of your personal data, and ask us to stop collecting, processing or using it (PDPA Art. 3). Under the GDPR you also have the rights to restriction, data portability, to object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g. in your EU country). Email [email protected]; we respond to access requests within 15 days and to other requests within 30 days (extendable where the law allows, with notice to you).

7. Cookies

This website uses only a strictly necessary security cookie (cf_clearance) and your self-chosen language preference. There are no analytics or advertising cookies, so no cookie consent banner is shown.

8. Changes

If we change this notice we will update this page and the effective date above.
