Privacy Policy for Pawtient AI

What We Collect

• Name: To personalize your app experience
• Email: For account login and functionality
• Pet Health Data: Blood tests, medications, and health logs you enter
• Vet-Visit Audio: When you record a vet visit, the audio is sent to Google Gemini for transcription. The audio bytes are not stored on our servers; only the resulting text transcript is retained. The original audio file remains only on your device.
• Photos: Pet profile pictures, blood test report scans (parsed by AI on our servers), and vet-visit photos (kept on your device only, never uploaded to our servers).
• Crash logs and diagnostics: Anonymized error reports we use to find and fix bugs.
• App activity: Aggregate usage data (which features you tap, which screens you view) to improve the product. Linked to your account but never used for advertising.
• Device identifiers: A hashed device ID to protect your account on unknown devices and to send push notifications you've opted into.
• Support Messages: To help you and improve our service

How We Use It

• To provide the app's health tracking features

• To respond to support requests

Sub-Processors

We rely on the following third-party services to operate Pawtient AI:

• Google Cloud: Cloud Run hosting and Gemini AI for blood-test scanning and vet-visit transcription, all in the us-central1 region.
• MongoDB Atlas: Data storage, US region.
• Mailjet: Transactional email delivery.
• Apple App Store and Google Play: Subscription billing. We never see or handle your payment card data; this is processed entirely by Apple and Google.

Sharing a Pet

You can invite a co-owner or veterinarian to share access to one of your pets. When you do, that pet's health data (the same data described above) is shared with the invitee per your explicit choice. You can revoke access at any time from within the app.

Your Data

• Stored securely with encryption
• Never sold to third parties
• You can delete your account anytime

Account Deletion

You can delete your Pawtient AI account and all associated data directly from the app at Settings → Account → Delete Account. If you are unable to access the app or prefer to request deletion by email, contact us at seanlin@generalrev.com and we will remove your account and associated data.

Data Retention

While your account is active, we retain your data to provide the service. After you delete your account, we permanently remove your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Children

Pawtient AI is intended for users aged 18 and older. The app is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

International Transfers

Our servers and sub-processors are located in the United States. If you access Pawtient AI from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region with data-transfer restrictions, your information will be transferred to the United States. Where required, we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another valid transfer mechanism to protect your data.

Your Rights (EU/UK Users)

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data. Email us at seanlin@generalrev.com to exercise these rights. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Your Rights (California Users)

California residents have the right to know what personal information we collect, request deletion, and opt out of any sale of personal information. We do not sell your personal information. To exercise these rights, email us at seanlin@generalrev.com. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
